Grandma always said crazy is as crazy does.
Have you noticed how Maggie always has to get in these videos? lol I looked terrible in this video, but posted it anyway.
This is my favorite post on your blog so far!
I didn't recognised the music i'm afraid, i'm not very musically minded. You seemed very competant on the old ivory keys though.
That was really nice, you should play a little everyday..I think music is therapeutic..you should be proud to be able to play so well being away from it so long...What was your plan to do with your music education?
I also did notice Maggie the ham in the background...
Glittermom,My only recourse with a music degree was to teach music in grade school and high school. I abhorred the thought and never taught. I mainly got into music education because I got a full paid scholarship to the University of Montevallo. I had severe stage fright and performance anxiety in college, though, and it hampered me in my endeavors.
While I'm sure it's a much more famous piece from something . . . I recognize it as being from Peanuts! Aside from Maggie, Dixie and Rascal - I think Snoopy is my favorite pup! He has a great attitude!Work up the courage - and sing for us one day!Humming that tune for the rest of the day now!Grannie
Great tune! Reminds me of the days that I watched the Peanuts gang on TV... I still watch their holiday specials! You continue to surprise me with your talents and gifts... Awesome post!
What fun! Thank you for posting! My daughter also went to Montevallo from 1994-96...she was in theatre. Small world...
everyone seemed to enjoy your talents on video...maybe we can have more in the near future...
Even with your many mental problems you seem to have a calmness about you..I think you might have made a good music teacher with children...
Thank you Glittermom. Those are very kind words. I think it's just because I am a day after my injection! lol
I remember you used to play that all the time when we were in high school!Brings back memories!Mary K.
I recognize it from the Peanuts! I had no idea you could play. I'd love to hear more. Do you sing too?
awesome!!! very lovely.
Yes Jenn. I sing. It was my major in college. I will have to sing Happy Birthday on April 12th for the blog.
Beautiful, Andrew. Thank you for sharing.
I love that Andrew. It was so nice to see you play the piano that I always see in your other videos. Yay!! I truly hope to see you sing someday soon.
That was an awesome post! You really are such a creative man. Writing, photography, and music! I can not wait to hear you sing!!! How wonderful to have so much talent!
You don't look terrible! I enjoyed this one Charlie Brown. Maggie apparently loves to be with you. My dog is the same.
That was a great post Andrew...i do hope we hear more of your piano playing..what a lovely hobby it could be..if i had my own piano i would be tinkering on it all the time...by the way you dont look terrible at all..and i love to hear you speak..i think its your accent..living in the u.k. its lovely to listen to folk with strong accents..i find them fascinating.
